Sharing Hope,
One Bible at a Time

Last December 25, 2025, Dale Ferrer shared the mission and heart behind Evanjailism — a faith-driven ministry dedicated to bringing God’s Word, worship, prayer, and hope to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) across several jails in Cavite.

Beyond mainstream entertainment, Dale dedicates his time to this prison ministry advocacy through Evanjailism. Through this mission, he regularly visits localized lock-up facilities and jails, including the General Trias and Kawit Lock-Up Jails, to provide food, distribute Bibles, and perform uplifting spiritual music for persons deprived of liberty. His goal is simple yet powerful: to remind every individual behind bars that they are not forgotten and never beyond God’s grace.

Today, Evanjailism continues to serve inmates in Kawit, Imus, General Trias, Imus BJMP, Tanza, Silang, and Bacoor — reaching lives that many people often overlook.

We are honored to support this meaningful mission, not through monetary donations, but by helping provide Bibles to those who need spiritual encouragement the most. These Bibles were generously donated by the Philippine Bible Society and Ms. Virginia Reyes-Carreon, President of the Rotary Club of Las Piñas East. Through this collective effort, more individuals inside our local jails now have access to God’s Word, offering them hope, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Missions like Evanjailism move forward purely through faith and the kindness of people willing to help. Every contribution — whether financial support, supplies, prayers, or resources — creates a real impact on lives that are often forgotten by society.

Sample donations shared by the ministry include:

• ₱100 – sachets of shampoo and toothpaste
• ₱200 – a pack of coffee
• ₱500 – several loaves of bread
• ₱1,000 – one sack of rice (25 kilos)

We encourage everyone who feels called to support this ministry to extend whatever help they can. No act of kindness is too small when it becomes a source of hope for others.

You may have seen her at one of our bridal fairs. Kate Torres was once an exhibitor at Before I Do — a familiar face in the wedding industry, building her business one fair at a time. But over time, God led her in a different direction. She set aside the booth and the bridal fair circuit, and instead began showing up at malls with a microphone and a heart full of praise.

Today, Kate busks in malls — not for tips or fame, but to worship God alongside whoever happens to walk by. She sings. People stop. And sometimes, a moment in a mall hallway becomes something far more meaningful than anyone expected.

Kate still graces weddings, too — but these days, she fills those moments with worship songs rather than the usual repertoire. If you'd like her to lead worship at your wedding or event, you can reach out to her directly through her Facebook fan page.

What started as a personal calling quietly grew into a mission. Over several months, Kate began giving away free Bibles and merch during her busking sessions — and by God’s grace, more than a thousand copies of God’s Word found their way into the hands of mall-goers, strangers, and seekers across the Philippines.

When she put out a call for Bible donations, Before I Do Bridal Fair answered. Together with the Philippine Bible Society, we sent boxes of Bibles to support her mission. And we were not alone — Jesus HUGS Ministries and @pamaypay.mnl also came alongside her, each one playing a part in making sure God’s Word kept moving.

In her own words, Kate shared what this season of ministry has meant to her:

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this possible — the Philippine Bible Society, Jesus HUGS Ministries, and @pamaypay.mnl — and to Kate for her faithfulness to a calling that most people would have walked away from.

Before I Do Bridal Fair has always been more than a place to book wedding suppliers. It is a community. And communities show up for one another. When Kate called, we answered. And we would do it again.

As part of our continuing commitment to support faith-based outreach and community development initiatives, we also donated Bibles and hymnals to The Eternal Life Ministry of Salvation (ELMS) Christian Church through Pastor Buboy Espino of ROCK International Ministries.

The Bibles and hymnals were generously donated by Ms. Virginia Reyes-Carreon, President of the Rotary Club of Las Piñas East, and were received with gratitude by the church’s Head Pastor, Rev. Ariel Gonzales.

The Eternal Life Ministry of Salvation (ELMS) Christian Church is a Bible-believing, Christ-centered ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurturing spiritual transformation within the community. ELMS is a newly organized church located in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, specifically within Ciudad de Strike — a major socialized housing and community development project in Barangay Molino 1.

Ciudad de Strike serves as a relocation community for marginalized families and informal settler families (ISFs) who were previously living in high-risk coastal and danger-prone areas. As the community continues to grow, churches like ELMS play an important role in providing spiritual guidance, hope, and support to residents seeking a renewed sense of purpose and faith.

For a growing and active congregation like ELMS, physical Bibles are more than symbolic gifts — they are essential tools for ministry, discipleship, and spiritual growth. The church continues to need Bibles and Christian learning materials to support several important ministries, including:

• Discipleship and spiritual formation
• Small groups and Bible studies
• Community outreach and evangelism
• Youth and children’s ministry development
• Worship services and fellowship gatherings

Through these resources, church members, families, and young people are given greater access to God’s Word and opportunities to deepen their faith.

We thank everyone who continues to support ministries and churches serving underserved communities. Every Bible shared, every hymnal donated, and every act of generosity becomes a seed of hope, encouragement, and transformation for countless lives.

Nagpapasalamat ang UCCP Paranáque community church sa mga biyaya at kaloob ng Diyos na Biblia na nagamit sa gawain ng pagbukas at pagpapalim ng pananampalataya ng mga kapatiran — mula sa mga magulang at mga bata. Narito ang mga idinaos na gawain at kasamang pagbabahagi ng Biblia.

1. Regular Prayer Service

Dinadaluhan ng mga kababaihan, kalalakihan at mga kabataan na nagkakaisa para hilingin sa Diyos na pagpalain ang bawat gawain at pamamahagi ng ebanghelyo ni Cristo.

2. Vacation Church School

Taon-taong gawain alinsunod sa malawakang misyon, sinasagawa ng mga lokal na iglesya na umaabot sa mga misyon at outreach program.

VCS M. Francisco Outreach — Pasay: Dinaluhan ng mga batang halos 50 at tumanggap ng Biblia at mga regalo.

VCS Hugo Perez Outreach — Trece Martires: Dinaluhan ng mga 50 hanggang 60 mga bata na tumanggap ng Biblia at mga regalo.

VCS Gabriel, Tambo Paranáque: Dinaluhan ng mga kaanib at kapitbahay na malapit sa lokal na iglesya ng UCCP — may 30 mga bata, 20 sa Ibayo at 30 sa Palanyag. Lahat sila ay napagkalooban ng Biblia at iba pang regalo.
